Overview

WHMCS Advanced Menu Manager is an addon module for creating and managing custom client-area menus from the WHMCS admin area.

Requirements

  • WHMCS v6, v7, v8 or v9
  • Access to upload files to your WHMCS server (e.g. SFTP)
  • WHMCS administrator access

Installation Steps

  1. Download the product package.
  2. Extract the package on your local machine.
  3. Upload the menumanager folder to:
/whmcs-root-directory/modules/addons/
  1. Log in to your WHMCS admin area.
  2. Go to Apps & Integrations.
  3. In the search field enter Advanced Menu Manager.
  4. Configure which admin roles can access the module if WHMCS prompts for permissions.

First Open

After activation:

  1. Open Advanced Menu Manager from the WHMCS admin area.
  2. Create your first menu group or use the default-menu installer if you want to start from the built-in WHMCS navigation.

Upgrade Steps

  1. Back up your WHMCS files and database before upgrading.
  2. Replace the existing addon files with the new release files.
  3. Keep the module folder name as menumanager.
  4. Review release notes before upgrading if the release includes template, hook, or packaging changes.

Installation Notes

  • The addon does not require core WHMCS file edits for standard usage.
  • Some older integration examples may reference manual template placement, but current usage can rely on generated menu output and navbar replacement features.
  • If you are testing on a live system, create one test group first before replacing a live navbar.

Sentware is the current publisher of the module. Existing users may know older releases under the ModulesCastle name.
